Privacy

Circl is designed as a private place for your invited circl. Your household details, birthdays, addresses and photos are not public.

Chat messages are only visible to your circl, or to the people chosen for a private thread. They are encrypted in transit and at rest, but they are not end-to-end encrypted. Leaving a circl removes your access to its chats, deleting a message removes its photos, and chat never appears in the weekly recap email.

We do not sell personal information or use your private content for advertising. A complete legal privacy policy will be published before Circl opens broadly.
